Na altura, o mercado era em grande parte dominado por pedras de baixa qualidade da Ásia, que muitas vezes não conseguiam mostrar a verdadeira beleza e o potencial desta extraordinária gema. A nossa missão era trazer aos amantes de joias da Europa as moissanites mais finas, selecionadas pelo seu brilho excecional, durabilidade e artesanato.

A moissanite tem uma história fascinante. Foi descoberta pela primeira vez em 1893 pelo cientista francês Henri Moissan, que encontrou pequenas partículas de cristal dentro de uma cratera de meteorito no Arizona. Inicialmente, ele acreditou ter descoberto diamantes, mas anos mais tarde os cristais foram identificados como carboneto de silício (SiC), um mineral que ocorre naturalmente e que foi posteriormente nomeado moissanite em sua homenagem.

A moissanite natural é incrivelmente rara, tornando-a inadequada para joias na sua forma natural. At the time, the market was largely dominated by low-quality stones from Asia, often failing to showcase the true beauty and potential of this extraordinary gemstone. Our mission was to bring Europe's jewellery lovers the finest moissanites, selected for their exceptional brilliance, durability, and craftsmanship.

Moissanite has a fascinating history. It was first discovered in 1893 by the French scientist Henri Moissan, who found tiny crystal particles inside a meteorite crater in Arizona. Initially, he believed he had discovered diamonds, but years later the crystals were identified as silicon carbide (SiC), a naturally occurring mineral that was later named moissanite in his honour.
